Stephanie comes to us from Columbus, Ohio where she acquired her degree in Food Science and Technology at The Ohio State University. Prior to returning to school, Stephanie was an officer in the United States Army in the Judge Advocate General's Corp. While stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky, Stephanie fell in love with bourbon. It's that love of bourbon that made her decide to leave the practice of law in order to make spirits.
When she's not at the distillery, Stephanie enjoys spending her time with her two children and playing board games.

Hayes spent his formative years in bars searching for the perfect Manhattan. Which explains a lot now that we think about it... As a fifth generation farmer, Hayes has always looked for new manners of vertical integration and new uses for the grain he and his team grows.

Lee has been with the Distillery almost since the beginning, giving tours at the grand opening in 2016. He didn't officially join the Boot Hill Distillery team until 2017 after a nearly two-decade-long career in the car business as a service and parts advisor and manager.
You'll mostly see him traveling the state, sharing our spirits at events and tastings. If you see the Distillery Jeep out in the wild, take a pic and send it to him!
Lee has a long-time background in the retail liquor business and bartending. In addition, he is a member of the Depot Theater Company of Dodge City, serving in both on- and off-stage roles.
His favorite drink? Red Eye Whiskey neat.

Julie graduated from Fort Hays State University with her degree in agricultural business, not knowing entirely what she wanted to do with her career. However, after bartending her way through college, Julie has moved forward from making and serving drinks to the business side of the spirits industry. She has managed to tie in her degree by keeping the records of Kelman Farms, the sole provider of grain for Boot Hill Distillery spirits.
In her spare time, Julie enjoys camping, spending time outside, reading, baking, and doing yoga.

On more than one occasion, she's won our Cocktail Competition and created one-of-a-kind libations you won't find anywhere else.

After nine years of maintenance and management in renewable energy, Layton now handles all packaging and logistical needs of incoming supplies and materials, as well as outgoing finished products. He manages our rickhouses and ensures proper functionality of all Boot Hill Distillery equipment.
In his spare time, you can find him fishing, golfing, or enjoying a cigar and Old Fashioned on the patio.

A "Jack of All Trades," Adella is responsible for handling the graphic design, bookwork, and all administrative tasks for Boot Hill Distillery and Kelman Farms.
Her favorite cocktail is the Rosemary Mule and when she's not working, she likes spending her time with her family or working on her art or other hobbies.
